Our Christmas Hakari for 2014 is being held on Friday, 19 December 2014 at the Petone Workingman's Club, Udy Street, Petone starting at 7.15 to 9pm.

We have reserved a number of places - 35 seats - so please come and share some Christmas cheer. Call or text or email me with the names of your whanau including the ages of your tamariki.  Here are my details: Kaituhi, Rowena Wirepa, or text (021) 143-9004, no later than the 15 December 2014, so we can confirm numbers with the Restaurant.
The price for dinner is extremely reasonable. For adults who are not members - $23; adult Club members - $19; Senior (Club members) $17; Children (3-10 years) only $1.20 for each year. Children under 3 years are free.
We have booked for 35 people but there is room for more. Please don't delay and contact me asap. This will be a lovely way to celebrate Christmas and share the Taurahere's 2014 successes. Kai on the night will be a delicious buffet. Here's the menu:

  • Steamed Christmas Pudding with custard
  • Assorted cakes, slices and flans
  • Home-made trifle with whipped cream
  • Assorted fruits and jellies
  • Coffee & tea

Mokopuna presents
Uncle Tamati has always been Hana Koko for the mokopuna so please provide a present for your tamariki that is clearly named so our uncle can hand them out at the hakari.
Finally whanau, the Committee has already started planning for 2015 and the first hui of the new year is being planned for late January. We will be in touch with these details closer to the date.
