Ngata Lectures STARTS TODAY

Still watching from the side-lines
Finally, after months of planning, cajoling and a lot of hard work, we are there. The 31st Sir Apirana Ngata Memorial Lectures, 2014, start today.
Already we have a success! We have almost filled Te Papa's Soundings Theatre which seats more than 300. This means NO MORE REGISTRATIONS because of our catering numbers. If you have registered you will need to collect your registration pack once you have paid your fees. You can do this from 3:00 pm today at Kokiri Marae or tomorrow at Te Papa. If you haven't registered but want to attend anyway, please come along as there are still a few empty seats - but not many (and a koha is always welcome).
The final programme is available here.
Those unable to attend in person can listen to Radio Ngati Porou, which will broadcast the lectures live.
Or, watch the live stream from 9 am Friday 5 September 2014 at this web address. Once you are in the website, follow the instructions of your browser. Depending on the age of your browser, you may need to download an app to make it work.
Finally, thank you for your support and feedback to our communications. They have been much appreciated. See you at the Lectures.
