About Kokiri Marae:
It is our home marae for the lectures. Accommodation is available (primarily for out-of-town whanau but please contact tina@kokirimarae.org.nz if you live locally and want to stay during the lectures). Here are some good reasons why:

  • Breakfasts are available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and as long as Tina has numbers, local Nati's may want to start the day there too.
  • A bus will be available to and from Kokiri marae for the lectures. It will bring whanau in to Te Papa on Friday and Saturday mornings and back to Kokiri on Friday after the hakari. On Saturday the bus will go to Otaki for the Ngati Porou East Coast versus Horowhenua Rugby Game and bring people home to Kokiri marae after the after match function. If you are local and want to catch the bus to and from the lectures, that is kei te pai too. However, if you are not planning to go to the rugby on Saturday afternoon you will need to make your own travel arrangements.

About the Friday evening hakari:

  • It is being held at Te Marae, at Te Papa.
  • It is a buffet dinner and is being catered by Te Papa.
  • It is a broad menu which includes vegetarian kai, meat and fish and other delicious trimmings.
  • There will be a cash bar for drinks.

Our programme:

  • The most updated version is now available here.
